WAX WAX WAX
Aussie Candle Suppliers
http://www.aussiecandlesupplies.com.au/shop/home.php?cat=284$24/kg for soy wax - its even kosher ;)
There are different waxes available accommodating different melting temperatures.
Dyes - probably best to go with the liquid dyes:
USAGE
0.05% dye means using 1 gm of liquid dye for 2kgs of wax
I doubt we'll need more than 10g...?? how did they get that wrong? of LIQUID dye. So $5.50
And there are moulds we can buy if we get lazy and don't want to make one, though I'm not sure about the measurements...
If we want to buy online we have to order fast! It'll probably be 6-8 working days and we will want the material we're using for the final product by at least week 11. Also shipping will be steep from those several kilos of wax... Shotty it not being delivered to my house.
Candle Making

Parafin wax melting point: 51-54 degrees
Soy wax: 46 -49 degrees
I think the lower melting point the better, but between these two waxes there is little different (there are types with much higher melting points)
These guys don't provide prices and they're in Glaston...or something.
So lets get a-buying! Please leave comments as to thoughts... we should really get a move on.
How are you going? You should fill out the risk assessment form for EHS before the actual installation. It helps inform you and others of the potential hazards and take necessary precautions. http://www.safetyandwellbeing.uts.edu.au/environment/office/ehsriskandsafetychecklist.pdf
