Installation.m4v

okay, hopefully this is better.

Installation Video

This is a pretty bad quality version of it, because blogger must have compressed it when loading.

I have the full size version on my computer. I added music behind, if you don't like the music you can come over and get the original raw files and edit it yourself.

Its a shame its a small file because the quality is actually really good.

DOMINIQUE YOU FAIL AT POSTING!!!

And the email about locations from George.
Are we cool with that space? Or did we want to be in the Imac lab?

Im just kind of worried about people walking into it... but I guess that wont really happen.

Anyway, DOM POST!!!

ITS ALL ABOUT THE WAX

WAX WAX WAX

Aussie Candle Suppliers
http://www.aussiecandlesupplies.com.au/shop/home.php?cat=284
$24/kg for soy wax - its even kosher ;)
There are different waxes available accommodating different melting temperatures.
Dyes - probably best to go with the liquid dyes:
USAGE
0.05% dye means using 1 gm of liquid dye for 2kgs of wax
I doubt we'll need more than 10g...?? how did they get that wrong? of LIQUID dye. So $5.50
And there are moulds we can buy if we get lazy and don't want to make one, though I'm not sure about the measurements...

If we want to buy online we have to order fast! It'll probably be 6-8 working days and we will want the material we're using for the final product by at least week 11. Also shipping will be steep from those several kilos of wax... Shotty it not being delivered to my house.

Candle Making
http://www.candlemaking.com.au/content/productCategory/o/77995/c/523692
Parafin wax melting point: 51-54 degrees
Soy wax: 46 -49 degrees
I think the lower melting point the better, but between these two waxes there is little different (there are types with much higher melting points)
These guys don't provide prices and they're in Glaston...or something.

So lets get a-buying! Please leave comments as to thoughts... we should really get a move on.
